Three More Food Trucks Rolling In

Last week we gave you a taste of three incredibly appetizing food trucks that will be featured at Awesometown’s Goumet Food Truck Festival. And as if that didn’t leave your stomachs growling, today we’ll be featuring more! So grab a napkin and get ready to wipe the drool off your face because this post is about to get hungry.

Today we’re presenting three phenomenal food trucks: Great Balls on Tires, The Munchie Machine and Tapa Boy.

Meet Our Food Trucks!

Can you smell it yet? The sweet aroma of mouth-watering mobile food is finding its way to Awesometown, leaving not-so-subtle reminders of the tastiness to come! With the Gourmet Food Truck Festival quickly approaching, we thought we would share with you some background information on participating food trucks and leave you with just enough to rouse your hunger.

Today we’re featuring three delectable food trucks: The Dim Sum Truck, The Border Grill and The Sweets Truck.

Offering generous portions of shu mai (shrimp and pork dumplings) that is out of this world, The Dim Sum Truck brings tradition to the greater Los Angeles County Area, serving the dim sum deprived with tasty fare around the clock. From West Los Angeles to the South Bay, fans come from near and far to sample their favorite Chinese cuisine. Fan favorites include the scrumptious har gow (shrimp dumplings), baked BBQ pork buns and, of course, their delectable secret sauce. The Dim Sum Truck also features daily specials and a constantly changing menu, so there is always something new to try!

With gourmet tacos, quesadillas, ceviches and more, The Border Grill offers cuisine that is deliciously different from the rest. At The Border Grill, seasoned veteran chefs Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger, otherwise known as “too hot tamales,” enhance traditional Mexican dishes with a gourmet touch, creating a mind-blowing experience that is as colorful and exciting as it is delicious. And not only does the menu feature entrees that are to die for—it also has some fantastic appetizers and unbelievable desserts, including the delectably sweet and ever-so-popular churro tots!

If sugar is what you crave, look no further than The Sweets Truck. Providing baked goods, tasty sweets, espresso drinks and teas, The Sweets Truck handpicks their daily variety of goodies from local bakeries and candy makers, so every bite is filled with an incredible taste that can only be described as true devotion to sugary perfection. Among the most popular sweets are the richly moist and beautifully colored red velvet cookies, featuring a spread of frosting in between two layers of luscious cake. And if you’re looking for something a little more adventurous, The Sweets Truck offers a pudding shooter to satisfy your needs!

Gourmet Food Truck Festival in Awesometown!

A food truck frenzy is currently sweeping the nation, and Valencia is about to take part in it! On Saturday, October 16 come be a part of the festivities when Awesometown becomes the epicenter of rolling culinary greatness as it hosts Valencia’s Gourmet Food Truck Festival in the Santa Clarita Valley. This event will take place at the Bridgeport Marketplace, located at McBean Parkway and Newhall Ranch Road, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. There will be an assortment of delicious food and great company, so bring your friends, family and a hearty appetite!

Awesometown’s Gourmet Food Truck Festival is expected to draw more than a dozen of the most popular and delicious gourmet mobile restaurants around, delighting guests with flavors from every region of the globe. A sampling of the trucks includes The Dim Sum Truck, Fish Lips, Munchie Machine, Great Balls on Tires, Border Grill, The Gastro Bus, Vesuvio Italian Food Truck, Del’s Lemonade, The Sweets Truck, Fresh Fries and Tapa Boy with more to come!
