Classic Cars and Safe Rides

This Saturday, June 9, from 4:00pm – 8:30pm, head on out to the Classic Car Show at Route 66 in the Santa Clarita Valley. In its 13th year, The Classic Car Show at Route 66, Southern California’s premiere monthly showing of classic cars, helps to raise funds for the local high school-based drive safe program, Safe Rides.

For the past 13 years, Safe Rides has been providing rides to thousands of local high school students who find themselves impaired due to alcohol or drug abuse. This volunteer organization has been a helpful resource to the community because it has prevented numerous deaths and serious accidents and injuries that could have been the result of intoxicated driving.

Registering your classic car in this weekend’s show costs $10 and the fee goes directly to Safe Rides. Everyone else who attends can enter free of charge and enjoy the show. This year, participating cars will be judged in over 20 different categories and awards for each will be presented at 8:30pm.

Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to take in a good show and support your local community! For more information, click here.

  1. I know there is a variety of rumours regarding the iPhone 5, but does anybody on this site know with any degree of certainty whether it has the A6 processor as opposed to the present A5? It seems to me personally that this may be the only way it’s going to be capable of compete with the Android devices.

  2. I realy like what you are saying. .thumbs up for that.
