Go, Earth!

May 8, 2023
Go, Earth!

We had so much fun getting together in Earth’s honor.

Over 600 people came out to Valencia’s Go Earth Event, and paid tribute to our planet. They sun-saluted and downward dogged during yoga with Megan Olind. Planted their green pledge to the Planet by writing messages on seed paper, then planting them to bloom. Brushed up on basic bike maintenance from Trek Bicycles. Took a painting class with local artist, Lorelle Miller. Zipped around the community (and our model homes) on NEVs. Learned about the Fernandeño Tataviam Band of Mission Indians. Enjoyed live music from Justin of Cali Conscious. Shopped at the mini market. And even perused a “compostable art show” (yep, there is such a thing). And because all that Earth-loving activity can make one hungry, there were also food and beverage stands and trucks (and a lemonade trike), thanks to Hilario’s Tacos, Little’s Loaves and Booles, Happy Trails, Blank Beverage, and Van Leeuwen Ice Cream.

A big tree-hugging hug to everyone (vendors and visitors alike) who made the day so great.

Did you miss it? Don’t worry. You can live vicariously through the photos below. (Just make sure to mark your calendars for next year!)
