A Citrus Twist on a Classic: Chef Princella's Orange Kissed Lo Mein
June 25, 2026

The Farmers Market was bursting with bright flavors this month as our Resident Chef, Princella Zeno, wowed guests with her fresh and flavorful Orange Kissed Lo Mein.
Made with a homemade orange glaze featuring freshly squeezed oranges, fragrant ginger, coconut aminos, and a touch of agave, this colorful noodle dish was loaded with shredded green and red cabbage, carrots, broccoli florets, and whole wheat pasta before being topped with green onions and sesame seeds for the perfect finishing touch.
As Chef Princella walked guests through each step, she shared simple techniques for building bold flavor with fresh, seasonal ingredients that can easily be found at the Farmers Market. From zesting fresh oranges to creating the sweet-and-savory glaze, attendees discovered how a handful of wholesome ingredients can transform into a vibrant, restaurant-worthy meal.
The biggest surprise of the morning? Just how much flavor was packed into such a simple dish. Guests couldn't stop talking about the bright citrus glaze and how the combination of fresh vegetables and savory seasonings created a meal that was both comforting and refreshing.
After the demo, visitors gathered to enjoy complimentary tasting samples while chatting with Chef Princella about recipe variations and their favorite Farmers Market finds. It was another wonderful morning of cooking, community, and seasonal inspiration.
We can't wait to see everyone at Chef Princella's next Farmers Market cooking demonstration!
