This 7.8-mile paved loop starting near Magic Mountain is a great area for birding, biking and jogging.
3. Valencia Summit Park Trails
A great place to go when you want some peace and quiet. 2.5 miles of paved pathway through gently rolling meadows, across quaint bridges and blooming wildflower fields.
4. South Fork
An easy 8.6-mile out-and-back trail running through Valencia that’s popular with hikers and mountain bikers alike.
5. Pico Canyon Trail
If you’re looking for a workout, this one’s not to be missed. These 6.8 miles through the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy park are rated moderately challenging.
